The ROD was signed by the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Energy, Installations and Environment) following the 30-day wait period after publication of the NOA for the Final EIS in the Federal Register on July 15, 2016. The ROD identifies the alternative the Navy will implement, provides the rationale for the Navy's decision, and responds to substantive comments not addressed in the Final EIS.
